Dr. Adam Grimm is a dedicated Optometrist with over a decade of experience in comprehensive eye care. A graduate of the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Grimm earned honors in all of his clinical designations—reflecting the highest level of performance and commitment to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Grimm holds Adjunct Clinical Professor appointments at both MCPHS University and the New England College of Optometry, where he enjoys mentoring the next generation of optometrists and staying at the forefront of clinical education and innovation.

His clinical interests and passions lie in the management of ocular diseases, including dry eye, glaucoma, and a variety of other eye conditions. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of patients—expanding all age ranges—ensuring personalized, compassionate care for every stage of life.

As a Wakefield resident, Dr. Grimm is proud to serve the community he calls home, as well as the surrounding towns. He looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and making a positive impact on their eye health and overall well-being.

Outside of the office, Dr. Grimm enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. On weekends, you’ll often find him snowboarding, hiking, or simply soaking up the outdoors with his family.

Emily brings a deep love of optics, technical skill, and a warm, upbeat energy to her role as Lead Optician at Wakefield Eye.

Her passion for the optical field began at an early age while working in her family’s optical shop. After earning an associate degree in culinary arts, Emily ultimately returned to optics, drawn back by her genuine enthusiasm for the profession. She reentered the industry in a management role before shifting her focus toward the technical side of opticianry. After years of dedicated apprenticeship, she earned her optician’s license in 2021.

Emily is certified by both the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners, reflecting her strong commitment to professional excellence. She has a particular interest in contact lens fitting and the fabrication of complex eyewear, especially cases that require careful problem-solving and customization.

Committed to continuous growth, Emily stays current with industry advancements through continuing education conferences and professional workshops. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, cooking, and baking for special events.

Shaina brings passion, precision, and a vibrant sense of style to her role as Apprentice Optician at Wakefield Eye. With two years of dedicated optical experience, she is driven by a genuine desire to help patients see their world more clearly and feel confident in their eyewear.

Her warm, welcoming approach helps patients feel at ease, while her growing technical expertise reflects her strong appreciation for the craft of opticianry. Shaina has developed a particular interest in edging and fabricating ophthalmic lenses, where precision and attention to detail make all the difference.

Outside the practice, Shaina enjoys spending time with her two beloved dogs and exploring the outdoors through hiking. She brings the same energy, enthusiasm, and care to her personal life as she does to her work.

From helping you choose the perfect pair of glasses to navigating the ins and outs of insurance, she's got you covered. Known for her friendly nature and eye for detail, Sabrina takes pride in making every patient feel welcomed and cared for. When she’s not at the office, you’ll likely find her on a scenic drive or soaking up the outdoors with her husband.
